After the War

After the War

After the Kurukshetra war, the Pandavas emerged victorious and established their rule over the kingdom of Hastinapur. Yudhishthira, the eldest of the Pandavas, was crowned as the king.

However, the victory was bittersweet as the Pandavas had lost many of their loved ones in the war, including their cousins, the Kauravas. The aftermath of the war also left a deep impact on the society and politics of ancient India.

Yudhishthira ruled over the kingdom with wisdom and justice, and his reign was known as the "Golden Age" of ancient India. He was assisted by his brothers Bhima, Arjuna, Nakula, and Sahadeva, who were all renowned warriors and played important roles in the administration of the kingdom.

After ruling for many years, the Pandavas decided to retire from their earthly duties and undertake a journey towards the Himalayas, along with their wife Draupadi. One by one, they fell on the journey, leaving only Yudhishthira to complete it.
